With Memories of Palestine, I try to tell a story about Palestine outside of the mainstream media stereotypes. As most of the Palestinians live outside of their country, I use the perspective of the Palestinian Diaspora and interview Palestinians across the World (Europe, Canada, USA, Chile, Australia, Dubai...). Those interviews are not finished, next year I plan do more in the Arab countries around Palestine. What I have done so far is available on www.memoriesofpalestine.com. In parallel, I am documenting the projects of several NGO's in Israel and Palestine. As I travel in the region, I cannot ignore the stories from the Diaspora. They are the main inspiration for my work. I am doing this because I care. This is not a scientific project, it is driven by coincidence, encounters and emotions. But many of the shared emotions can be a key to empathise with the people from Palestine. As for the format: there is no way that I could have done this without being a photographer but the end result had to be more than photography. It is many things: a video, a website, a book, photography and storytelling, personal encounters and future collaborations.

TRANSEO "This is exactly what characterizes the identity of each : complex, unique, irreplaceable, not merging with any other." (Amin Maalouf) The successive moves of my childhood have erased all ties that I could have with the territory. To be from everywhere is also to be from nowhere. Transeo is transit from one location to another. It is also the diary of the elements composing myself, people that make me be who I am , moments that make me feel at home.

Momentary Matter (Title) A choreography; The art or job of deciding how images will move in space ; also: the movements that are done by images and spectators in a space. I like to compare this project to a choreopgraphy. A sort of script, with a certain structure that can be performed in different ways; fold, unfold, fold / again / a choreography amongst images / again / the action of folding, feels like framing / again / no scale, no frame / again / touching borders, stretching the frame / again / in search of a state, it was before / and again / something quite different happens / again / when you see / again / what is it then, if it’s not what you think it is, reinventing / again / a facsimile, but / again / nor a fixed choreography, nor a fixed line / again / translucent / again / in between, a pulse, a rhyme, a time / again / itself, never referring / again / in between, drawing lines and movement / again / a rhythm / again / several times, the same, the different / still again / smallest details, disappearing / again / resonating, rehearsing / again / as if anew, composing, building, weaving / again / an extension / again / along sightlines, a dance / again / momentary matter / again / disoriented / again / beyond / again / fold unfold fold / again /
